HOW IT STARTED❤

 HOW IT STARTED:

A question I get asked frequently is  "why do you like bees?" and the question is not so simple. It started when I was in fifth grade and I heard that there was a bee hive outside of the school. A rumour from a friend said that the school was going to terminate the hive due to fear of students getting stung. At this point in time, we all know that this school just doesn't want to pay money, yet, we still get the same outcome. When I heard that they were getting rid of the hive, I was so outraged. I remember getting home that day from school and telling my mom that I was bored. She told me to do something creative and that she admired when I was younger and would make interesting things out of a cardboard box. Since we had a cardboard box, I filled the box up with papers I had written about helping bees and websites on how to help bees. I covered the box in paper I had colored bees on and by the next day, I had a whole presentation I was ready to show my principal. I when I showed the presentation to her the following Friday, she told me that the situation was now in the city's hands.  With this information, I did the only smart thing to do, I sent the box to the city. Even before I even knew of the hive, i did a thing I called lost and found, every morning (even in heavy rain) I would run all across my school and collect clothes. With the clothes I would hang them on the lost and found rack. On my way of collecting the clothes, I would find dead or paralyzed bees.  When a bee get too cold they get paralyzed, I would do everything I could to warm them up and keep them alive. Even though my teacher you not let the bees inside the classroom, they would be waiting outside the door. Also, to this day, I burry every dead bee I find. Maybe that's why I've been stung 7 times...
